Research Interests
- Dr. Cooper's research interests are in the area of urban soils. This
includes turf management, soil erosion, land use and environmental impact
reports. His recent students have been studying the current practices of
homeowners and the use of phosphorus on lawns in the Twin Cities. He also is
looking at the effectiveness of Environmental Assessment Worksheets (EAWs) in
protecting the environment.
