and

Findings from Focus Groups

Two studies and their summaries are available from this page:

1. A guide for people developing programs

This guide addresses non-point source pollution at the local level. Education programs from around the country were studied and elements of success are summarized in this report.

2. Findings from focus groups

This focus groups study was conducted with farmers, agency staff, crop consultants, and researchers, addressing non-point source pollution in the Minnesota River Basin. Research priorities, recommended practices, and education programs were discussed by participants throughout the basin, and results are summarized here.

These studies were conducted as part of the Minnesota River Agricultural Research Base Studies Project, performed by the University of Minnesota, and financed by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
